The Commodores Wrestling team made a statement on Monday night by defeating Blackhawk 72 to 0 at Henry DiVirgilio Field House. The Dores found themselves up 12 to 0 before a match was even wrestled gaining two forfeits wins by Rune Lawrence at 189lbs and Josh Girvin at 215lbs. Randy Pellick (285lbs) starts off the night by Defeating Braden Gillespie by fall in 39 seconds. At 107lbs Tanner Hayes got a forfeit win, followed by a double forfeit at 114lbs. Lincoln Dye (121lbs) and Tyler Clark (127lbs) Also got forfeit wins for the Commodores.

"It was a great win to start off the year," Frazier Head Coach Buck Watkins said. "It is definitely a win we can build on as a team and will aid in Individual success this year." 

The Commodores Rallied off three pins in the next three matches with Adam Kortina (133lbs) Defeating Dominic Pugh by fall in 1:22, Andrew Bandish (139lbs) Defeating Gavin Ronacher by fall in 2:29, and Jonah Erdely Defeating Gannon Bowles by fall in 15 seconds. Jayden Gardner added 6 more points with a win by Forfeit. Ryan Celaschi and Jackson Angelo capped off the night with two more pins. Celaschi (160lbs) Defeated Rialy George by fall in 58 seconds, and Angelo (172lbs) Defeats Kyle Stollenwerk by fall in 1:18. 

The Commodores will be back in action on Saturday at the Chartiers Valley Lewis Guildi Invitational.
